$20,000 goes a lot further in the used EV market than most people expect. Recently, used electric car prices have ticked up slightly, but there are still some exceptional options floating around. The four standouts clear the bar above the rest: the Chevrolet Bolt EUV, Kia Niro EV, Tesla Model 3, and Volkswagen ID.4.
The Chevrolet Bolt EUV is the default affordable EV—reliable, practical, and easy to find on the pre-owned market. Its primary weakness is poor DC fast-charging performance.
